Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a place where you don’t have to have all the answers—just a willingness to be curious, honest, and open to change. I strive to work with my clients to create a space that is focused on their needs, where they can be seen, heard, and supported–without judgement.

Couple & Relationship Therapy

Every relationship faces challenges—but you don’t have to face them alone. Couples who attend therapy will learn to build shared understanding, improve communication, set goals together, and focus on each other.

Family Therapy

Family Therapy

Families are unique and have their own unique strengths and challenges. Families who attend therapy build unity; improve communication; learn to manage conflict in healthier ways; cope with grief, loss, and trauma together; learn to problem solve as a team; and overall build greater compassion and understanding for each other.

*All clients must be in Wyoming or Nebraska at time of service.

*All services are virtual!

There are various approaches to therapy, I work with a variety of approaches to help best suit you and your needs!

Types of therapy I provide:

Motivational Interviewing: A conversation style that helps you discover your own motivation and desire for change. Instead of telling you what to do, I will support you to uncover your reasons, values, and goals—so the changes you make are tailored to you. This approach helps create space for clarity, confidence, and forward movement—at your own pace. Most clients who participate in Motivational Interviewing find it empowering rather than overwhelming.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A specific approach that helps you explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT teaches that the way we think influences how we feel, which in turn affects how we act—and that with guidance, we can identify patterns and gently reshape our responses. Clients will learn to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, identify how those patterns impact their emotions and behaviors/choices, and learn to shift those patterns to more helpful and empowering responses.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): This treatment can help you move toward a life that feels meaningful—even in the presence of difficult thoughts, emotions, or experiences. Rather than trying to “get rid of” painful feelings or control every thought, ACT invites you to make space for your feelings without judgment, identify your values/what truly matters to you, and make purposeful steps toward what you want. Clients develop self-compassion and flexibility in thinking that allows them to move forward more fully in their life, relationships, and goals.

Solution-Focused Therapy: A goal-oriented approach that focuses on your strengths to help you create more of what is already working in your life. Instead of digging deep into problems, we work together to identify and set goals using existing strengths to increase your resources, success, and to set small practical steps to make the change you want to make. Clients often find this approach to be positive and confidence-building. It is a collaborative approach that honors your experiences and wisdom.

Sand Tray, Play, and Expressive Art Therapy: Through music, drawing, sand tray, painting, poetry, movement, and other forms of art, you can explore your inner world, process emotions, and connect with parts of yourself that might be hard to reach through talk therapy alone. You don’t need any artistic skill or experience. Clients generally find a blend of expressive arts, play therapy, and traditional talk therapy to be a positive combination to build confidence, self-awareness, improve problem-solving and emotional resilience, decrease stress, explore feelings that are difficult to put into words, and find healing.
